Anderson Memorial Endowment Foundation ... (AMEF) The Anderson Memorial Endowment fund has been set up as a non-profit organization, for the express purpose of attracting, retaining, and maintaining healthcare services in the city of Norway, Michigan. The Board is made up of a group of civic-minded leaders representing various sectors of our community: Rev. James Danielson (clergy); Mike Tomasoski (City of Norway); Dr. Paul Hayes (medicine), Nancy Chellew (citizens), and David Anderson (the Anderson family). We urge you to consider a gift to the AMEF. No gift is too small; it is important for the future of the facility and the Endowment Fund that broad based support is established and can be verified. Your contributions to the AMEF are fully tax-deductible. Please consider that this building was originally established as a resource for the City of Norway, and that many people have worked for the past forty years to make it a success. The staff, medical professionals, the City Council, the Hospital Auxiliary, and the community all can share in the credit for AMMC's past. We ask that you help us establish the financial foundation that will keep AMMC a viable presence in the Norway community for years to come. Click here for contact information. AMEF does not provide Medical services, but serves to identify needs and develop plans to meet those needs; this may include attracting practitioners and providers to the Norway community. It may include acquiring and owning equipment, providing financing assistance to providers who locate in the facility or community, maintaining and possibly expanding the facility. AMEF will seek grants and other sources of funding to augment income generated by operations. All generated income (rents, fees, loan repayments, contributions, etc.) will be reinvested by AMEF to meet needs identified by the Board. Among the things currently under discussion as future goals (none of these is in a planning stage):
